Randolph Street Market Festival For the first time, THE OPRAH STORE will offer an array of specialty items at the Randolph Street Market Festival in 2009. In keeping with the Garden Party theme in May, shoppers can browse the store’s exclusive line of private label seasonal merchandise perfect for patios, poolside or the beach: linen napkins, acrylic flatware and drinking glasses, melamine serving trays and dinner plates; beach totes, towels and flip flops. Shoppers can also walk one block south/four blocks east of the market to THE OPRAH STORE to shop the entire selection of merchandise, including women’s, men’s and children’s apparel, plus home décor, African arts and crafts, gift items and pet products. THE ORPAH STORE parnterned with PAWS Chicago to host the Angels with Tails adoption event on July 26, 2009 when homeless pets took over West Loop business storefronts. Pets were adopted from 12noon-4pm as West Loop businesses showcased adoptable pets from area homeless shelters. We are thankful to the supporters! Remember, supporting your local businesses, boutiques and charities is the best way to help sustain our local economy. PAWS Chicago held its first Angels with Tails, on May 30, 1997, breaking the silence surrounding the animal overpopulation by taking the No Kill message to the streets and the boutiques along Michigan Avenue and Oak Street. Every year since then, Angels with Tails continues to grow and gain more support, brightening the future for animals in need.
